someone told me that if u say something halal for example grape juice looks like something haram like wine.... this makes the drink turn to wine for the person saying it thus making it....makes snse??? i wanna know if this is infact true? any hadiths to prove it...thanx

This isn't true. Grape juice is grape juice. It's the contents that matter. For somebody to forbid what Allah has made lawful based only on looks is unlawful.

I don't see how this could ever come true. Saying something is what it isn't, isn't going to magically transform it into something else. It's common sense. Me looking at my bottle of water right now and saying it looks like something haram like vodka isn't going to change it into that. This sounds extremely ridiculous to me. Maybe explain better because it seems obvious how untrue this is.

i dont know what halal means but im a wion. i stood over a bottle of grape juice shouting halal for eight hours. its still grape juice.

no tht sounds lame n it isnt true either......ur jus givin ur opinion 'tht it luks like dat' it doesnt actually become tht or if u mean by sayin 'dat drink luks like wine' it'll will be as if u r drinkin wine then no again thts dumb.......
