Because we have plenty of imbecilies here in Msia who love to do that and cause traffic congestion

It's human nature to stop and stare. Sometimes they'll stop and help, or see if help is needed, other times just to see. Same reason we have circus', people want to see things they don't see everyday (or hopefully don't see every day).

Yes! Where I live people do it all the time and cause huge long lasting backups because of it. It really aggrevates me, people like to gawk at other people misfortune.

If I am with my husband when we come upon an accident scene, yes. I have no choice, he is a volunteer firefighter/medical first responder. we have front row seats.
