I have a new Sony VAIO and it has the capability to burn DVD's, but I don't know how to do it! Unlike CD's, when I put my DVD into my computer, an option doesn't pop up to burn it.I am in desperate need to burn a DVD and I would appreciate any help! THANK YOU! :)

You need 2 or 3 programs depending on what DVD you are burning.
1. Get DVD Shrink...google to find a download page.
2. Get DVD Decrypter...again google

Open DVD Decrypter and put the DVD in there and rip the movie to your hard drive.
After the movie is ripped to your hard drive, open DVD Shrink and back it up to the blank DVD.

Sometime this wont work if the movie has ARccOS or the new version of RipGuard. In this case you will need to get DVDFab or RipIt4Me. Both work for the ARccOS & RipGuard DVD's. You would still need to use DVD Shrink to get the files to fit onto a 4.7GB DVD.

Anymore questions just ask. Hope this info helps.
Oh and all these programs are free.

The programs I use are: Sonic Record Now! and Nero Burning ROM. The new version of the programs have DVD recording as well. These are very easy to use. When you pop in the blank DVD it automatically gives you an option to burn.
