2.25 and 2.5 vision?

Question

What does that mean?
On my contact lenses, it saids "PWR -2.25" for my right eye and on my left it says 2.50?
How far is this from the 20/20 vision?
And are there any ways that can improve my eyesight?
How about lasik surgery?

That's actually not that bad. in relation to 20/20, it's off, but not that bad. My left eye is 2.25 and I can manage without my contacts, but like having them in a lot better. Now, my right eye is 4.5 and it is bad.
