I'm in my late 20's, have been dating a girl for several years but have always had a wondering eye. I just met a women who I want to get know as a person and intimately. If I have the desire to meet someone else, does that mean I should break up with my current g/f? We still love eachother, but I just want to meet new people. Why do I feel like such an asshole for thinking about breaking up with her?

I think you owe her honesty about this, and there's an excellent chance she'll want to break up with you.
Ask her if she has any suggestions other than breaking up. That tactic will probably maximize your chance of an alternative outcome.
