The Devil [ Satan] is in control of the earth RIGHT NOW.
He has been cast out of heaven with his angels [ demons] and is NOW on the earth with us, causing all our problems.
(Revelation 12:7-9) And war broke out in heaven: Mi′cha·el and his angels battled with the dragon, and the dragon and its angels battled 8 but it did not prevail, neither was a place found for them any longer in heaven. 9 So down the great dragon was hurled, the original serpent, the one called Devil and Satan, who is misleading the entire inhabited earth; he was hurled down to the earth, and his angels were hurled down with him.
(Revelation 12:12) On this account be glad, YOU heavens and YOU who reside in them! Woe for the earth and for the sea, because the Devil has come down to YOU, having great anger, knowing he has a short period of time.”
(2 Corinthians 4:4) among whom the god of this system of things has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, that the illumination of the glorious good news about the Christ, who is the image of God, might not shine through.
Satan is the 'god' of our present system.

Satan is the god of this world. And as they say in the military, a short timer.
For a little Celtic flavor, since the fall, this has been known as Satan's Eden. Looks and sounds more like it every day.

Where exactly would he take it?
Would he take the earth out for ice cream?
He couldn't be any worse then the God figure. Look how many have been killed in that ones name and he is susposed to be all love.

Of course. Who the hell wouldn't? I mean there's this big book called "The Bible" that says he loses. If you were to bet on the devil, you'd get terrible odds.

The devil has the earth in his grips. Fight the devil? Since one angel slew 186,000 men in one fell swoop, I don't think it's likely that man could fight the devil. So, we have Jesus Christ to do it for us. And believe me, or rather the Bible, the devil is no match for him.
