Mohammad is the last prophet because what ever was necessary for the peolpe to lead an ultimate life was deliverd to him and he taught us that in full now nothing is left .the code of living given by him has every thing that can deal with all time and all situations no matter globalisation or what .had we adopted his laws and regulations which may be look difficult apparently but have very good impacts that could have saved us from lot of troubles that we are facing now even if you look at the law of zakat(yearly tax from welloff people to help the needy)is such a complete help but most of the people dont want to give others and as a result you can see the whole lot of government taxes that are kind of looting. Similarly if you see the prohibition of interest you know the hindu banyas has looted the naive people with this action a lot

Seal of the prophets (Khatam-an-Nabiyyin) is a title given to Muhammad by a verse in the Qur'an 33:40. Muslims traditionally interpret this verse as meaning that Muhammad was the last prophet.

The main Qur'anic reference to this phrase comes from the chapter (surah) titled Al Ahzab; "The Confederates" or "The Allies". In this chapter, God answers criticism of Muhammad's marriage to Zaynab, who was divorced from Zaid, his adopted son. Since the Qur'an already distinguished between adopted and natural children, God, in response to the accusations, said:

"Muhammad is not the father of any of your men, but he is the Messenger of God and the Seal of the prophets. And God is ever Knower of all things." - Qur'an: "The Allies", verse 40.
While the primary focus of this narrative is to answer accusations that his marriage to Zaynab was immoral according to Arabic custom, (cf. note on adoption) this phrase is nonetheless taken as being especially significant. Much has been made over the years of the fact that the term "Khatam" meaning seal, or ornament is used in the Qur'an, and not the related "Khatim", which is more commonly used to mean final or last. Some Muslims argue that this choice of wording implies that Muhammad was not merely the last prophet, but also that no other prophets have or could appear without his "seal of approval" or the like. [citation needed]

According to Welch, Muslim interpretation of Khatam-an-Nabiyyin as the "last and greatest of the prophets", is most likely based on a later interpretation.

Hadith
Sunnis claims to quote the Hadith of Umar and prophecy as proof of Muhammad's being the last prophet, while both Shi'a and Sunni quote the Hadith of position.

If any body is the last messanger of God, then we are all doomed.

God is so caring that He always leaves at least one saint, from whom we can seek guidance. We have to find him.

The advantage in seeking union with him is that he appears if our call is genuine!

Well, that's what Islam says. Jesus said something entirely different about 8 centuries earlier. I believe Jesus.

To accept this is to negate everything Jesus did, and died for.
The whole faith of Islam will not agree here, but in denying that Jesus is the SON OF GOD, and only giving Jesus the status of a respected prophet, has condemned the entire membership of this religion to eventual destruction at Armageddon.
(John 5:22) For the Father judges no one at all, but he has committed all the judging to the Son,

Since his time on earth, Jesus has given us 2,000 years to make an informed choice.
Crunch time is here.
(Revelation 18:4-5) And I heard another voice out of heaven say: “Get out of her, my people, if YOU do not want to share with her in her sins, and if YOU do not want to receive part of her plagues. 5 For her sins have massed together clear up to heaven, and God has called her acts of injustice to mind.

Suicide bombing can condemn a whole faith.

This is Muhammad's trick to ensure that his flock remains intact. None believes this.
Even then, thousands of Muslims are daily eschewing Islam for a more civilised option.
