I suggest loading up on champagne and lots of gourmet food and sweets. Decorations and live fireworks, really go for it! Go out for a night of dancing.
As for live dancers, if you can find ones like Chippendales, fun and elegant and playful, then go ahead. I would skip it for a conservative and religious friend. Don't kid yourself. She is not going to agree with what she's not going to agree with.
Have a masquerade party instead and let the guys 'crash it' as a surprise and have a hot tub on the premises. This is a good alternative. Otherwise, rent some movies and have a sleepover with a pillow fight and lots of gifts. You can give each other a new hairstyle.

This reminds me of the time I went to a bachlorette party ready to see the hot stripper that's dressed like a fire fighter and instead ended up in what I thought was a pajama party. The bride and bride's maid of honor were real religious and so the highlight of the day was jumping on the trampoline all night (did I mention, no booze?)!!!
Here's my question? Why are the husbands going to be there? And why not get all wild and crazy? It's a once in a lifetime (except for those of us on our 2nd or 3rd marriages), but usually it's a once in a lifetime opportunity.
If I think of anything not too wild, I'll write back. Good Luck!

My daughter recently had a bachlorette party. Her and her friends had it at our house. We have a large rec room so they spent the night playing pool, darts, a few games which prizes were given out. They had drinks, everyone brought their own booze, munchies were provided. They all slept on air mattresses. They got in the hot tub. It was a fun event for all, most of her friends are married and have children. They all really enjoyed it and said they had a really fun time. They were up giggling and talking till 4 am, none of the husbands had a problem with this. It was all clean fun. So maybe if someone has this type of set up they wouldn't mind hosted it at their house, or maybe at a small country lodge. Have fun!

Rent a limo and go bar hopping. As a former chauffeur, I have transported and seen many bachlorette parties. The benefits of a limo is one, nobody has to drive drunk and two, everyone can have a good time. Most chauffeurs know how to keep the party going and yet keep the ladies out of trouble. It was quite common for the bride to be to wear a t-shirt with suckers or lifesavers attached to it and the phrase "suck for a buck" on it. Lots of guys will go along and pay a dollar for the candy. You can even request a female chauffeur if the husbands are uncomfortable with a male one. Have fun and be safe, and dont forget to tip the driver.

The best bachelorette party I've ever been to was a more refined one. We all went out for dinner and had planned to go to a club, but we could tell that when we got to the club no one was having fun, so we cut it short and went back to the bride's house. We all got into our pajamas and geeked out the rest of the night. We played games, drank weird concoctions, talked, did our nails etc. It was fun to just have a slumber party with all the girls.
That was truly the best BP I ever went to.

Rent a limo, go to a bar. The bachelorette party can only get as wild as you let it. If you act classy and mature, you can still get a little tipsy and buzzed, have a fun time and everyone keeps their morals.
Generally, wild girls are who make wild bachelorette parties. If one in the group is a certified, current or even former, party girl, chances are you won't have a problem.

greetings...first off congratulations!! let me guess...the male stripper party wasn't a big hit with the men. well, i have to admit i wasn't to crazy about my wife attending one for her party, but would have gone along. as luck would have it, she didn't want one anyway so it worked out. her best friend had a girls night in party. some sort of lingerie thingy. they ordered a bunch of food and they all brought gifts. it was kind of like the wedding shower but just for her. she got all kinds of neat girl stuff. she said it was the best time ever. one of the girls made drinks. they all pitched in and everyone had a blast. some of the unmentionables even got modeled after a few tequila shots, but it was all women. even my mom attended. it was good clean fun with just the ladies. good luck
