sounds like you might have a viral infection or the flu.

there is no cure for either of these (flu is also viral). they take about 10-14 days to run their course.

to treat the symptoms

-eat saltines crackers, toast (w/a little butter),or soup. this will help with the nausea. the crackers and toast help absorb any extra acid in your stomach to relieve the nausea

-take ibuprofen (if not allergic) for body aches and any present fever. take 200-400mg every 6 hours as needed but no more than 1200mg in 24 hours.

-avoid high sugar or spicy foods-these will upset your stomach more.

-keep drinking lots of water (or gatorade) to prevent dehydration

-take nyquil or theraflu (or similar) at night to help you get the rest you need

-sleep as much as possible-this is the best way for your body to heal itself.

for the flight-take ibuprofen right before boarding (about 30 mins before). if your flight is 4 hours or longer-you can take a cold/flu medicine to help you sleep but make sure to alert the flight attendant to wake you upon landing so you don't miss getting off the plane. do NOT take it if you have to drive yourself once leaving the airport.

take gatorade on board with you-this will help keep you hydrated.

i hope you feel better soon!!

Because of the change in the weather, there has been a lot of flu like sickness going around. Many people where I work have had fever, sore throat, diarrhea, body aches. This time of year with warmer days and cold nights, it seems to be worst. Drink plenty of fluids, get the rest you should. See a doctor and maybe a shot to cut it off and hopefully you will have a good holiday. Good luck

Sounds like flu symptoms. Drink orange juice and take Ester C (vit c with herbs) to help you immune system. You can buy the Ester C at any pharmacy or Walmart.

Sorry u feel that way. What I do is take two motrin or advil and put a heating pack on my lower stomach (where the menstral cramps are). Take two tums for the upset stomach. Try drinking tea, chamomile will help a lot. As for the chills, when one or more of these symptoms starts going away the chills will stop. Feel better and I hope it works for you
