In our country (india) , a type of grass is put in to the water& food items on the solar& lunar eclipse times. i guess the grass must correct digestive problems during the eclipse times .
But i dont know there is any digestive problems in eclipse times.

For watching a lunar eclipse, no, there are no known side effects at all. Now if you watch a solar eclipse without any protection from the intense light of the sun, then you can damage your vision, either permanently or temporarily. In other words, don't look directly into the Sun.

Lunar Eclipses are harmless, -but you must NEVER look directly at a solar eclipse without eye protection because they can leave you blind. Practically ALL of the other effects are based on superstition.

I believe there are 2 main bad effects:

(1) Looking directly at the sun can damage your eyes

(2) It also apparently affects people's ability to spell "eclipse"
