I follow Jesus Christ because I believe every word in the bible is exactly what it claims to be: given by inspiration of God. I believe this because I have devoted the last ten years to studying the bible.
I was taken to church as a child, but didn't become born again until I was 45 years old. I was away from church for almost 20 years.
God is patient...and I am grateful.

I don't have a religion, but I'm very spiritual. I was raised religious, but I've come to realize that all belief is personal and has nothing to do with one religion fits all.

I was born into a Baptist family. After I retired from the Air Force, I accepted a licensce to be a Baptist Preacher (substitute for other preachers). However, I no longer associate with any church that teaches anything but the exact quotes of Jesus in the Bible. (No churches do that, because eventually every church wants to control your life.) I believe in the teachings of Jesus, and I have received the Holy Spirit just as Jesus promised. The Holy Spirit has witnessed to me that if I choose harmony as a way of life, I will go to Heaven.) I am very suspicious of all verses that do not quote the exact words of Jesus.
To believe in Jesus is to believe his teachings. Nothing more and nothing less.

I came to know The Truth at age 53... I am now near 60. I am of The True Christian Faith. I know The Truth of God... Faith not based on fact is fantacy... I know with absolute certainty that God is what He is...and beause I have The Fact of God I have the Faith in His Word and Will that I do.... I do my best... and that is not as good as it should be by a long shot... I am not as strong as I wish I was... and far short of what God wants... I pray that I will get better before my mortal time is up.
If you have a question conerning The True Christian Faith you may email me if you wish... if you would like to know more I can expound a bit and provide a link to my website....

honestly I say that I am taoist, but I am not too sure of that is the correct religion because of lack of research, I do believe in total balance, the yin yang represents that, and soo far in my life I believe that everything balances out either it be in your life time or someone elses. if you have a bad you will have a good day, or your having a bad day cause someone else is having a good day. Thats my basic gist of things.

Religio means literally "bind together"
I take that to mean bind myself to what is pure and good and godly.. I believe all have this capacity in any religion.
