Have you put on weight recently? If so, I think you are getting some stretch marks, the itching is how it starts.
There are 2 things you can do;
1.have a bath with comfortably warm water and uncooked oatmeal (porrige) in a stocking which has been cut into a pouch shape and tied off in a knot. the oatmeal will relieve your itching.
2.Moisterize the skin with Vitamin E cream or some other gentle, non-perfumed body lotion. Repeat daily. Be careful of nylon material as this can sometimes aggravate sensitive skin, wear cotton undies instead.

I use gold bold itch cream for the occasional itch, but it could just be dermatitis. Try a really, really strong itch, something that is 1% hydrocortisone. Anything stronger than that and you'd have to get a prescription. And wear louse clothing on the area is that they don't rub against the skin

Do you wear a belt? My cousin had an itch on her stomach that she couldn't figure out...turns out she was allergic to her belt buckle.

sometimes my sides will be really itchy. i think it is because pants/underwear always sit on the same line. like when you take off socks and it is really itchy where the band is.
