Not to be a movie freak... but have you ever seen "the Notebook"?
If you've seen it, Noah goes after Allie, but Allie acts completely uninterested and goes with her boyfriend... but Noah never gives up on her (he keeps on asking her out (sweetly and politlely))... eventually Allie gives in and then the two of them live happily ever after...
This should be you two... I have got to say that you are super brave for telling that girl that you like her... just because she is ignoring you and flirting with another guy doesn't mean that she doesn't like you (she might just be playing games with you... lots of girls like to play games) Don't give up on her... keep on telling her that you like her and that you would want to go out with her (sweetly and politely)... If she has enough brains, she will hopefully get the idea that you really do like her and hopefully she'll go for you.

Just an advice here without being harsh. Never let a woman know what you feeling before you get into a relationship and even then u need to have some boundaries. Women hear aaaall the time that men love/like/warship em. Thats why flirting exists. When u say you like em you destroy all the mystery.If you tell a woman u like her it aint flirting its a confession. My advice is learn to flirt.If you dont know someone that can teach you ask a woman or watch some movie.(Hitch is a nice movie to watch,or some of the 007 films).
