30-40 minutes a day exercise is perfect (alittle more wont hurt either, you'll find that you WANT to do more as you get fitter).

I am not a fan of 1000 cals per day, that is too low. If you starve your body, your metabolism will slow down and only expect 1000 cals per day, then when you go back to eating 2250 per day you will put on weight.

The best thing is to eat AT LEAST 1250 cals per day (more as you exercise more).

Good on you for getting into being healthy, go for it

you should take in more than 1,000 calories a day otherwise you will not have any energy. As long as you eat healthy foods and medium sized portions, along with 30 minutes of excersize, you will lose weight and feel great

1000 calories is too low. Eat at least 1200.

Make sure you are not starving yourself, as this is the fastest way to gain weight rather than lose it.

Other than that, great job.
