No price constraints at all whatsoever. I have straight hair that is somewhat damaged because I dye it. I have LOTS of hair, so the volume can be annoying. I want something that will help me keep my hair silky and shiny and very very straight. I was using this Salerm shampoo with proteins from Spain that I got at the saloon but they don't have it anymore; it was very good, but I'm looking for the absolute best.

I have used literally every time of shampoo that is made.
The BEST I have found is by Halo made by Graham Webb. I use the blue one that is for hydrating. I have very blonde, decolourized hair that is very dry if I don't take care of it. Use the conditioner to for the best results. I LOVE this stuff and will not use anything else now that I know how wonderful it is.
There are lots of products by Halo, try a few and figure out for yourself which one is the best for you.
Here is a link to show them to you:

It's hard to find the BEST shampoo. I'm not even sure if there is a best one. Many different shampoos go with many different hair types.

For instance, I have very thick, volumized hair and I wouldn't want to choose a shampoo that says that it adds more volume, I've got enough already! But If I had thin hair and wanted more volume, then that shampoo would be good!

Experiment with different types like Pantene, Garnier, the shampoo from Spain, Dove, etc. There are so many kinds out there! Find the one that's best for you and don't forget to read on the bottle if it adds volume, makes your hair more shiny, and so on.

Good luck!

I think every person has his own very best! It seems we have the same type of hair and I love John Frieda products, I live on an island and spend a lot of time in the sun and at the beach, and John Frieda makes my hair soooo smooth and shiny! I'm sounding like a TV commercial, but it's true!

I prefer Vive Pro shampoo and conditioner for color-treated hair by Loreal Paris. It does have a bit too much of a fruit-filled fragrance, and I did prefer the older fragrance formula, but I have a sensitive scalp and it works well for me.

I'll tell ya about some shampoos that I don't use, regardless of fragrance, due to them drying out my hair a lot in the past -- finesse, suave, pantene, pert plus, and 'agree'.

I have tried my share of probably every shampoo out there. The one that i find best now is Herbal Essence. It does work better than any other shampoo i have ever used. They have different kinds that you can choose from for your hair type.
