People are getting mad because you said we are born atheist. Come on. I agree with the assertion. Straight from the womb, is it really logical to assume that babies "believe in God". Their minds are so simple, that such a complicated concept seems nearly impossible to be inherent. I wonder at what age a child is held accountable. It's a good question, but I don't really have an answer. To be a true believer I think the child's mind must be at a certain level of understanding. God is a huge concept. Quite complicated. I would say at around the age of 5 or 6, kids can start to understand such a concept and perhaps hold some sort of true belief.

I don't think we're born Atheists. If that were so, then why would religion have started?
I say dogmas are implanted at around age 4-5 though, from personal experience.

I don't think we are all born atheist, we are taught inside the womb. As we grow older we remember that which was taught to us in the womb. If our Mother was a believer we will believe that same thing even if only for a time. The doubt and everything the goes with it, dogma is in the blood line. You are no different from your parents although we want to believe we are when we're younger, but we're not. I don't think everything they taught us even they believe totally, but them finding out the truth was in teaching you their doubts. "hard to believe but true". But that's how we all learn what is or is not true. No one really knows if God is real or not, but we know there is a higher being the doubt comes in what to call it "Man or Woman". Even as an Atheist we believe something. Dogma is just a decision being made. That's what I believe.

Wrong statement.
We Born to be slave of true and only God Almighty.
Means, we came to this world with the will of Almighty and breathed first to now with the will of Almighty, that means we are slave and obedient to our Creator, Provider, and Sustainer.
We can not breath a fraction of second without Permission and will of God Almighty. We did not came to existence without Creator.
Creator of universes is there since ever and will be for ever, No Beginning, No End, Beyond our mental level and well above our thinking reach.
No use of thinking which is without our limits.
We have to be thankful and grateful to God Almighty He has given us health so we can live better life and if He put us in some kind of problem we can ask His help to cope that problem and succeed.

The "dogma" of religion is "implanted" at about the same time as the dogma of atheism.
It depends on the child, and the environment. And the Holy Spirit.

As soon as you can be indoctrinated. Some people start before the children can even understand figuring they will be used to it by the time it starts up it's scrubbing bubbles.
LOL. Someone said "god" the other day and my four year old popped out a scooby doo, "Ruh?!" There is no way to just "know" about god and anyone claiming anything else is insane.

I think, given the presence of some form of religion in pretty much, I don't know, EVERY culture, it might be more acurate to say that we are born agnostic and proceed as our imagination/fears/preferences guide us.
And I'm gonna go with...age 3.

Ask yourself: what would you think if you were Chinese? What would you think if you were raised in the Middle East? Would you believe in God if you were raised in an atheist’s country?
It is about indoctrination and that is that! In this country the concept of God is shoved down your throat. As a child you don't have a say about what is taught to you. By the time you become adult much of your ideas were given to you. It was the same for me as the rest of the people that post here.
I was raised Christian just like most others in this country. By the time I was 25 I stated thinking on my own behalf. I started learning other form of spirituality I began to see thing differently. It took courage to walk away from my faith but I could not stop the road I was on no matter how much I feared burning in hell. The indoctrination is so great in us that I would wake up in the middle of the night in a cold sweat thinking the devil would own my from walking away from God’s protection. Over time I realized it was only in my head. There was no resident evil coming to get other than what was generated by my own imagination.
I see so clearly that the God concept is not how we claim it to be. I am happier now than I have even been now that I have chosen what was best for me albeit different from what was handed down to me from birth. I understand the delusions that are happening to all of the religious. I was just as lost and to break its grip was like going through a rehab process from a drug addiction. It took great courage to do what I did in the mist of a very religious family. Most people would not have my fortitude nor my will to only see truth as it is not how I want it to be. In the process of my transformation I have become extremely spiritual but logic and reasoning are also balanced within me.
As I listen to all the arguments I can see what Christian are saying but I realize they are as lost as I used to be. Because of this I have great compassion for Christians.
There is no God that is that. There is higher power but not in the form of a God sitting on a throne passing down judgment if I don't surrender my life to him. No form of intelligence would ask such things of another intelligent being. There is proof all over the place but the indoctrinated can not, will not, and fear it to much to walk away from what was taught to them. This is how a group of people is owned and controlled.
I will say this the bible does carry history. It also carries an agenda. If you clear your mind you can begin to see in a more symbolic perspective. Let me through out just one think here the Anti-Christ just might be designed to teach the world of the real evils of religion. A person that is indoctrinated from just this book could only see one way. To a mind that has been freed from this one interpretation can accepted the bible in a different way. I will tell you this people are stupid. Individuals tend to be a bit smarter. How do you know your interpretation is the correct one? I will say this there are a lot of fools that will say they know God and die for their limited belief.

How do you know that we are born atheists?
An equally fair question would be to ask, "Since we are all born believing in God, at what age does this belief get beaten out of us by a disbelieving world?"

We are born "atheist"?
What scientific evidence do you have of that? A belief in God or a disbelief in God can not be determined until the child can claim it.
