Which islam, moderate or fundamental, the correct one?

Question

If the moderate version is correct, then why when muslims commit murder, rape and killing in the name of islam, ie shouting Alllahu Akbar while doing so, there is no protest, no self examination, no nothing amongst the muslims? The only response would be some imams or muslim leaders claiming that "islam means peace", or "islam does not advocate violence" and that is just about it. The violence continues like it is part of islamic culture. However, when there are pictures of Mohammed in press, suddenly the response is so reat amongst muslim groups (protest, killing, demonstration, etc). Does this mean that pictures of Mohammed is a much much more bigger insult to islam than muslims killing, raping, etc, in the name of islam, shouting Allahu Akbar?

Not true, not all religions have fundamentalist that kills and bombs people in the name of their God. Only islam does, only muslims kill people while shouting Allahu Akbar. Sure, we have the IRA and ETA and other groups that does terrorism, but their motivation is entirely political, not religious. They don't go blowing up stuff while shouting, "Jesus is great!" or "For jesus! Boom!". Islam is the only religious movement that exists today that has so many fundamentalist worldwide committing atrocities all over the world.

Like all religions, we have our fair share of fundamentalists, this does not mean that they speak for us all. There is only one Islam, there should be no sects or segregation, but like everything man does we are flawed, so even though our religion is perfect; all the people following it may not be so!
