The very first answer is an example of what the EGO can do to a rational human being.
I AM. This is the very starting point.
The others statements follow such as
I know
I can never be wrong. I can never go wrong
What I hold has to be and is the best
Religion is man made for the collective good of all.
But it got corrupted because of power and wealth.
As a result we have evolved a destructive, wrathful, punishing monster out of God. Everyone lays exclusive claims on their perception and understanding of God.
"Mine is the Only truth." - a hollow claim made by all and sundry
What humans forget is God does not need us but we need god.
I can have no exclusive claims on God
He does not exist because of me or my belief
But I exist because of Him
In the present world religions have forgotten God
They have entered into a competition with each other in a number game.
They are only interested in pulling each other down.
God and his word
can not be limited, restricted or represented in books, structures, organizations, positions, places etc., for these are man made in an attempt to understand and know God and thus have their own limitations, flaws, contradictions etc.,
Those who really Know God enjoy his grace and presence in solitude and silence.
Empty vessels make all the noise.

I agree with you to the extent that all religions of the world are journeying towards God. Here is the Catholic teaching regarding your question.
The Catholic Church recognizes in other religions that search, among shadows and images, for the God who is unknown yet near since he gives life and breath and all things and wants all men to be saved. Thus, the Church considers all goodness and truth found in these religions as "a preparation for the Gospel and given by him who enlightens all men that they may at length have life."332

To reunite all his children, scattered and led astray by sin, the Father willed to call the whole of humanity together into his Son's Church. The Church is the place where humanity must rediscover its unity and salvation. The Church is "the world reconciled."
Peace!

No not all "religions" are leading to a common cause. And since you make such a claim, what would you say that "common cause" would be?
And even if they did all lead to a common cause it does not mean that they are equally valid or appropiate. The end does not justify the means.

Absolutely not. Religions vary quite differently. Only Jesus Christ is savior. No one else offers this; all other religions are man's attempt to get to God. Christianity is God's reaching to man...with His son.

No... religions differ vastly. For example, buddhists never kill for their religion; christians and muslims do.
