Hi Tarsh
Here are some ideas to use to heal the issue.
Cause
Psoriasis is metabolic in nature and can be triggered by environmental or stressful conditions, poor diet, flu-like conditions, the administration of penicillin, and nutritional deficiencies. Patients with psoriasis are also a higher risk of rheumatoid diseases.
Psoriasis can be caused by food allergies, essential fatty acid deficiencies, low digestive enzyme and hydrochloric acid levels, vitamin B complex deficiencies, emotional stress, illness, drugs (such as beta-blockers, lithium, and chloroquine), poison ivy or oak, skin damage, and several infections, bacterial or viral in origin.

Natural Cures
Aromatherapy: The following essential oils are recommended: bergamot (to help heal skin plaques), lavender (to reduce excessive itching), melissa (for irritated skin), jasmine (for dry sensitive skin), geranium (for dry irritating skin), and sandalwood mysore (for dehydrated, inflamed, and sensitive skin).
Diet: Screen for and eliminate all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive. Eat a varied diet of organic, whole foods, rotating foods as much as possible. Eliminate wheat and wheat products for 1-3 months. Consume seafood high in omega-3 fatty acids, such as wild salmon, sardines, mackerel, herring, and each day, on a rotating basis, take one tablespoon of olive or flaxseed oil, and be sure to drink plenty of pure, filtered water. Organic beef, venison, poultry, garlic, onions, parsley, organic plain yogurt, and sauerkraut are also recommended.
Flower Essences: Rescue Remedy Cream® applied topically can soothe symptoms.
Herbs: Combine equal parts of burdock, sarsaparilla, and cleavers tinctures and take one teaspoon three times a day. Silymarin (milk thistle) is also helpful for psoriasis due to its positive effects on liver function.
Homeopathy: Useful homeopathic remedies include Psorinum, Sulfur, Graphites, Cuprum met., and Arsen alb.
Juice Therapy: The following juice combinations can be helpful: apple and carrot; beet, cucumber, and grape; and beet, carrot, burdock, yellowdock and garlic.
Lifestyle: Mild cases of psoriasis may be helped by daily exposure to sunlight. Frequent exercise is also recommended.
Nutritional Supplementation: The following nutrients can be helpful: evening primrose oil, omega-3 essential fatty acids, vitamin A, vitamin B Complex, vitamin B6, Vitamin B12, vitamin C with bioflavonoids, folic acid, lecithin, zinc, and a multimineral supplement. Taking hydrochloric acid (HCL) with each meal can also be of use.
In Europe fumaric acid treatment in the form of fumaric acid tablets, ointment, lotion, and scalp lotions is widely used to reverse symptoms of psoriasis
Topical Treatment: Apply seawater to the affected skin several times daily. Linseed or avocado oil, aloe vera gel, and/or capsaicin cream applied topically can reduce the scaling, thickness, redness, and itching.
Best of health to you

I was diagnosed with psoriasis at age 14 and now I am 36 years old. You can say that I have tried just about every medicine both approved by FDA and trial without much success. Examples include Enbrel, Humira, oral meds, creams, oils, salts, coal tar, etc and the list is much more extensive that I can't even remember all of the names. But recently after someone shared this video https://tr.im/Treatmentspsoriasis20152PEQ everything has changed. My psoriasis completely cleared by putting these changes in place. I only wish I'd taken photos of before and after because it truly has been miraculous. I am getting married in Oct, 2015 and I am wearing a strapless gown that also shows my back and I am confident (not like before) that my skin will be soft and pretty vs red and flakey.

First of all, I'd like to tell you I am so sorry for you! I to suffer from psoriasis. From the age of 13 I have battled with "The Heartbreak Of Psoriasis" I am now 47 and there is still not a cure! I believe I have tried just about any treatment I could! When I was your age the Doctor told me to use a tar based ointment and wrap myself in saran wrap!! Well, you can imagine how great that went over! I was treated with Puva Lights before there was tanning beds! My heart breaks for you! From experience, I also take advantage of the sun (avoid burning) and always apply baby oil after showering. This has been the most effective and least costly way I have found to deal with this horrible skin disorder! Avoiding any injuries to your skin also helps! Good Luck to you! E-mail me if you would like to talk, I honestly know how you feel! ladynitecat@yahoo.com

RE: Psoriasis aid?
I have had psoriasis since I was eight years old. I am now 21. It goes away completely during the summer but covers most of my body during the winter. I know it's because of the sun and salt water during the summer that makes it go away but has anyone who has psoriasis used anything that actually works for during the winter? I feel so confident in the summer when it's gone, but during the winter I just feel like hiding and winter is coming up so any suggestions?

If you have ever suffered with psoriasis you know the struggles of searching out relief. There are pricy over-the-counter products or prescription medications that may offer temporary relief. There are also quite a few natural cures for dealing with psoriasis.

I have a hairdresser friend who had psoriasis all in her scalp for years and it started going down to her eyebrow and nose. She got rid of it permanently by changing brands of personal care products and giving herself proper nutrition.
Dad has had it on his leg for as long as I can remember (and I'm nearly 45 now!) and since using these products has already found improvement.
If you would like to find out more about this company and how you can directly access their products, you may email me directly at leanne27@aapt.net.au

My husband has psoriasis really bad all over his body. He sees his dermatologist regularly and takes a shot of Enbrel once a week. It works great for him, but there are serious side effects of the medicine. You can talk to your dermatologist to see what is right for you. Good luck to you.

i have eczema and that is sort of related to psoriasis..my skin is the same way and during the winter i use my medicine(oinment or cream) that my dermatologist prescribe and i also use a thick lotion for sensitive, dry skin, "Eucerin" and also to lock in that moisture i use "Vaseline"..U should go to a dermatologist to ask them more questions on how to lock in that moisture for the winter. Winter is known to reduce moisture in the skin and if you have a skin condition then your skin is getting harmed.
