From the Egyptian River to the Euphrates River the Promise land to Israel. So that is Israel in Gods Eyes.
So, also, when America tells Israel to comply with Palestinians/ Westbank, giving up more land, and in the process, open them up to be destroyed by terrorists; then America also gets in trouble.
The first time I found this out was Hurricane Katrina. A prayer group got an answer from the Lord when they were praying to God to turn Katrina. A woman had a vision of a sword dividing Israel, then a sword dividing America, and heard the words, "Land for land.". as she came out of the vision. So. also others have had visions, etc. of consequences of dividing the land of Israel.
We had persuaded Israel to withdraw from Gaza. So they did & lost land and gained more terrorist attacks and termoil. Even the Palestinians also have more termoil. So, also we lost land in America.
And also, we are persuading Israel to leave certain areas, that will just leave them open to more destructive terrorist attacks, so also, we may open our nation to more destructive terrorist attacks. One person prophecied terrorist attacks, but also whats going on in Israel. Another person prophecied we won't have any more terrorist attacks on American soil. I believe it depends whether America stands for Israel, or persuades Israel to give up areas to open them up for evil nations to destroy them (like Iran).
In Gods eyes, the whole land is Israel, and God divides the nations according to the number of Israel.
This is a difficult time for Israel when some nations want to wipe them off the map.

God's promise still valid. Remember Jewish people didn't have their land for 6000 years.. And they proclaimed their nations in 1947. It is what it is.
PLO wasn't even existed until 1967.
I suggest you read a great book called "Dawn to Promised Land" by Ben Wicks. You can get it on Amazon.

I think He changed Abram's name to Abraham when He saw Abraham was a righteous man. He took him and showed him all the land that would be his THROUGH ISAAC. He then made Ismael the richest kid on the planet. You want a homeland? Get your brothers to irrigate the Saudi desert. They can afford it.

My opinion on it is that one way of looking at it is your way. The promise had more to do with the coming Messiah, and of course, the people of Israel.
But when Abraham walked the land, God gave him every bit that he walked on. And I think the area is in the Bible, but I won't promise that.

What is God's promise to Abram? All I know is that all the children of God are the descendents of Abram.
