I just got back to the ice today after three months of healing from a fractured tibia. I want to know some exercises that will help me with balance and Stability. I Started with gliding and I got in a couple crossovers but I noticed that I can't glide on one foot as long as I could pre-fracture. If you can help that would be awesome.

I think something that would benefit you would be to make sure you are just working with your leg off of the ice. When you are at home just practice doing things. Like standing on one leg and bending it. The best thing to do is to just take it slow. Good luck! If you need help just email me.

well any kind of stretches and also blance boards you can buy anywhere and also wallsits and stiff will help a little and if you don't know what a wallsit is you put your back to the wall and go into a sit position and then you make sure your legs are at a 90 degree angle so completely flat or lowerbut not to low. Also any kind of workouts ANY.

The more you practice the better and also there are diffrent types of stablity boards that you can buy. Also just stretch, you might also want to look at your local gym and see if they have a conditioning class. You may also look on www.usfsa.org's store and see if they have any books on it, there is also amazon. com.

Try doing spirals and practice balencing on one foot, and doing your jumps on the floor and do all your spin positions. Just basiclly do everything you did on ice, it will just be off ice. Good Luck!
