Or I guess, should I expect him to. I personally think he should as it is a sweet gesture on his part. Women's opinions please.

In Texas it would be considered good manners. Like holding the door. I would say don't EXPECT it b/c then you will take it for granted. But it is a considerate gesture and if you are together for any length of time (say a few yrs) it will probably stop. So enjoy it.

I completely agree, why could u would desire to break your well being because of the fact of somebody elses undesirable habit? U wouldnt get cursed or humiliated! There are human beings accessible that don't go out with different ppl cos of the smallest of motives and to be truthful, ur reason is a extensive and considerable one, esp cos u have allergies. i replace into with somebody who smoked as quickly as, yet he end cos he knew i couldnt cope with it. as quickly as we chop up i dont understand if he started lower back. It relies upon at this type of individual it particularly is smoking aswell, what if he replace into prepared to alter that habit? maybe he will, u will in no way understand except u talk to them, now at least u would make sturdy friends.

It really doesn't matter, even though it may be a bit of a compromise on his part.

You certainly shouldn't EXPECT him to light your cigarette. What is he going to light it with? YOUR lighter? That you hand to him? A little contrived don't you think? SWEET my ***!!

Sorry, but I'm a NON-SMOKING guy. I'm only able to "ignore" a sooty smelling gullet from my date if I'm TRULY desperate and even MORE lonely!

No...he shouldn't have to even if he smokes. The only reason any guy I know lights a cigarette for someone is so they don't accidentally pocket their lighter.

Smoking for the non-smoker is disgusting....find another way he can be sweet to you...opening doors (car door especially), foot massages after a long day etc.....Don't expect him to or be happy with your "bad habit"....it's only fair.

If he was raised with manners, then yes, he should light your cigarette for you. Make sure that your lighter is accessible, though, because chances of him carrying one for the hell of it are less than zero.

Not a good idea dear...
By willing him to do that is encouraging him to smoke....I would say not respecting his choice and in some ways you would be tempting him to smoke....

If it's his decision, run with it. I think it's cute. If he feels obligated thats a different story.
