My partner. She is the most giving and compassionate person I know. I have seen her change the lives of so many with her words and actions and always wished I could take all the people she's touched and bring them together to celebrate her. This would of course include those indirectly affected by her. It is incredible, the daisy chain of love that can come of one act of kindness, and her entire life has been a testament to that fact. After years, I am still amazed each and every day at how fortunate I am to have her in love with me.

Bhaktivedanta Prabhupada- The most recent messenger who came to reestablish the truth which appeared to be lost. He is in a pure line of disciples who stem all the way from the appearance of Lord Krishna 5,ooo years ago. Krishna(God) says in the Bhagavad Gita (song of God) "Whenever there is a decline in religious principles and the truth appears to be lost I appear again and again or send My representative to reestablish the truth. " So we can see why so many religions and so many saints and saviors. It all makes sense.

I have not one hero/heroin, but have many, since various heros/heroins have shone the light in many paths. I think Gandhi, Florence Nightingale, Mother Teresa of Calcutta, the Christ, etc...all of them have been my hero/heroins.

I am also inspired by the writings of many, who are not my hero/heroins. Benjamin Franklin, Khalil Gibran, etc.
