I am sorry things are so tough for you and your dog. Is your dog able to keep water down? Yes then do not feed her anything for 12 -24 hours only give water. If the answer is no. Try her on small amounts of water hourly - do not let her have a big drink. If you give her a big drink she is likely to vomit. If she continues to vomit she is in trouble and you need to see if you can get her seen by a vet despite having no money ie tell them how sick she is and you have no money. Try welfare groups. If she can keep water down then introduce small amounts (teaspoons) of boiled chicken, fish or other bland food ( no red meat) with rice or potato. Feed her this until she is well again. As I suspect she is dehydrated please dont feed her aspirin! Sometimes we have to make hard decisions when we love our pets and that decision may include borrowing money or getting credit. Really she sounds like she needs to see a vet, most dogs that sound like your dog will not get better without intravenous fluid therapy as they are unable to correct the changes in their blood that are making them toxic. A vet for the cost of consultation can tell you how sick she is, if she has a blockage, if it is gastritis, if she needs antibiotics, and/or if she needs fluids. You may need to eat noodles for a couple of weeks but she will thank you for it. Hope things work out.

If you're pretty sure the dog hasn't been exposed to parvo and it's had it's shots go get some pepto and mix it with anything you can to get him to eat it. An adult dose and a teaspoon after each BM after that. You may have to use a syringe to get it down but get it down, it works. Do this until it srops. Don't worry so much about food but do get liquids in him. If you have to feed him chicken broth that is fine it is nourishing and is liquid. In two days you should be fine. If it lets up stop the pepto or you'll have a stopped up dog.
If you have kaopectate use that but it is stronger and don't use as often, use it adult strength the first time and then maybe only one more time during the day. Good luck and God bless you and your baby.
I found your question. Hey people medications work on doga. Just don't use tylenol. Asprin is ok.
There is a website...I think it's all natural household cures for dogs or pets, something like that.

Response about boiling meat with rice is good. You can use ground beef, which will be less expensive for you, but boil it to cook. My dog had the same problem last summer. She's 10 so I get nervous when she's ill. She was waking up every 2 hours in the night to go. This continued for 4 days, not at the same extent each day though. If under 1 week and she's returning to normal, you should be fine. If she continues after 1 week, take her to the vet. I don't take my girl to the vet unless I am panicing. I wouldn't panic yet unless she really is showing no signs of her normal personality and this has gone on for a week.

YES!!! My two year old Maltese has "excess stomach acid". She was waking up every morning at 4am and puking bile. When I took her to the vet, they said she should have small meals spread throughout the day. I did that and it still didnt work for her. So they put her on a prescription dog food (i/d). She still has to eat four times a day....I had to buy a timed food dish so that she could have a meal when I was at work, and again at midnight. If for some reason I can't feed her on her "schedule" I am to give her 1/2 of a regular strength pepcid ac tablet. She doesn't like the pepcid so the vet suggested putting it in a doggy oral syringe (sp?) and diluting it...then squeezing it into her mouth. All of the above solutions worked/and are working for us. For about six months I was able to take her off the prescription food and I put her on a high quality canned dog food...but she had problems again in December, so for now, she is back on the prescription food. As I already mentioned, she is eating four small meals a day....6am, noon, 6pm and midnight....the fourth, midnight meal is new. She originally only needed 3 meals (6am, 4pm and 9pm)...but I guess her acid increased....I'm not sure... hope this helps!

Well Normally I tell people if they cant afford the vet care they shouldnt have the vet, but you seem like you really care

when they vomit yellow its stomach acid it means thy have NOTHING to come up, the number one death in dogs in this situation is dehydration.. you need to coax her to drink... pedialyte and chicken broth or beef broth is GREAT, forget the water, use a syringe and give it to her in small doses keep her hydrated its the first thing and most important thing....

Runny bowels isnt a good sign majority shows that black and tan dogs are more pron to Parvo has she had hr vaccines at all?? if so then just place that thought in the corner of your mind

once you get her to drink the broth or pedialyte (both will help with fluid retention due to sodium OR you can give 2tbsl in a bowl of water by syringe) try light canned foods to coax her to eat, I usually hate the thought of condoning canned dog food but in this case, if you note she is eating th canned, water it down...more fluids, keep hydrating her in hopes it will pass, when you start introducing foods again do it slow, wet it down...b patient and good luck

my dog did this, and 2 days later I seen ringworms in his stool. this could be why, this could also not help at all...you do need to take him to a vet, if you cant afford one. I'd bring him to a rescue who can give him the medical care he needs/deserves, and forget about owning another pet until you can afford vet bills.
It may sound rude, but this is the reason we have so many unwanted/abandoned pets, is because people make decisions on owning animals without understanding that they cost MONEY..

better find a way to afford a vet or dig a grave. Your dog is really sick and sounds like she will die without a vets intervention. I get so angry when people say they can't afford a vet. don't have pets if you can't afford all that comes with them. Now that poor animal is suffering and it on you. get that dog to a doctor if it means you don't eat.

If you can't afford to take your dog to the Vet when he is as sick as you describe. Then you need to find him a new home. Your dog is vomiting up bile, which is stomach acid. This because his stomach is empty and he has nothing else to throw up.

This could be symptomatice of SO many problems, that it would be impossible to tell without an examination. Your dog really does needs to see a vet, as soon as you can..Meanwhile encourge liqiuds..
You might try for the Care Credit card.. It is no-interest card to be used for veterinary care, and it allows up to 18 months to repay.. all of the vets in my state accept this card..
You can apply on-line, and know within minutes if you have been approved.. All it requires is a steady source of income.
