Satan has to obey God. It isn't a deal Jesus made with satan. Jesus came to destroy the works of the devil, and that we may have life and have it more abundantly.
What I have learned from experienced, when a bad spirit (satan, devil) attacks, submit to God first. Look to God (toward Gods love), ask God about it, etc... hear from God. Resist satan (his false accusations, lies etc...) & satan flees. When a child of God submits to God and Gods Word, satan is scared. The most important is praying, giving attention to God.

The devil will plant thoughts and even through the mouth of people we care most about. But the thoughts are lies like "Your Ugly, good for nothing, nobody loves you, etc.". To replace the devils accusation, say aloud, "God calls me beautiful.". "God says He loves me, that he will never leave me or forsake me. That no one or thing can take me from the love of God." "God has a special purpose for me." Etc...
