You have a body, you have a spirit that lives in that body, can you feel the seperation at times.
The body is what gets old and dies, your spirit if it believes in the son shall not perish and have everlasting life.
My body is close enough, because I did not take care of it,but my spirit is still strong,so I don't worry about the body giving way to everlasting life.
I believe for a fact that jesus is alive and well and if you sincerely believe and make the choices that bring you closer to him you will have that everlasting life, hey it can't be worse than this one.
People die just for that reason.

The fact is that God = the Creator never had a son. He begets none nor is He begotten. If we were His son or daughter, He would not give us punishment for our wrong doings.

Why God would have only a son and not a daughter? Why God only decided to have one son and not many? Why God only wanted to come through Jesus and not through Abraham or Moses or through any other? There are no satisfactory answers to these questions because these are all man made myths or fabrications in the heavenly books. We have lost 90% of the whole truth through these myths or fabrications. That is why God had to reveal the Quran to Mohammed to rejuvenate the faith.

If soul or spirit is every lasting, soul or spirit of both bad guys and good guys is everlasting. Then what is the difference of being righteous and believing in God, the most Glorious?

The fact is that if we believe in God, do righteous deeds and invite other people to do the same, we will be successful in the Day of Judgement in the life hereafter. We would be placed into heaven and there we will be everlasting with our body, soul and spirit. The wrongdoers will also be everlasting but unfortunately in hell. May God save us from the hell.

There are two lives, this life and the life after this life starting from the Day of Judgement. We should not mix up the two. This life is to practise being righteous and deliver good deeds. Nothing of this world will go with us in the life after except our deeds. Accordingly we will be rewarded or punished.

May God give us the ability to believe in Him, in His Angels, in His Apostles including the Last prophets Mohammed (peace be upon him), in His books revealed to the Apostles or Prophets, in the life after this life and the Day of Judgement.

Everlasting life refers to life after death. Everyone in this world will die because of sin. No one is sinless. However, if you believe in God and what He did for you, after you die, you are guaranteed to go to heaven, which is where you shall have the aforementioned everlasting life.

Are you being cute? Its everlasting life of the soul, not the body. Everyone's body will perish; human flesh is perishable.
The human soul is only able to be perished if it is ordered by God.

It is referring to everlasting life in Heaven. Everybody that has ever been born has died. but the forgiven believers will go to Heaven where there is no such thing as death and will live in the magnificence of Heaven forever. In Heaven, they will never die...NEVER.

Your body is just a house for your soul. When the body dies the soul goes on and lives forever and this is what this bible text is talking about.

the body may die but the soul returns to its maker if you believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, you have eternal life with the Father.. or else it is eternity in the lake of fire ...

also, if you die knowing Christ as your personal Savior, all the dead will rise at the sound of the trumpet!!!
