A moustache is not a sign of manhood. I've seen boys under 13 with wispy moustaches as well as elderly women. I do understand your desire to see yourself without it before shaving it off though and you can do it if you take a digital photo of yourself and use a program like Photoshop.

It's your face. If you want to see it, see it.
Software can remove the stache, but it can't figure out what to put where it was. It might look like you without it, and it might not.
Some psychologists about 30 years ago believed that a man who kept a moustache but no other facial hair probably had some sexual problem. I forget the explanation but it made sense at the time -- enough that I went from a 'stache to a full beard so no one would know about me.

Somehow I do not think the presence or absence of facial hair would affect a man's ability to sire, however, there is something to it, except as for what this is, I think that remains the choice of the beholder.
For example, some women believe that a solid amount of facial hair can be an indication the man is single and unattached. This assumption is made for a good reason: Most women dislike facial hair because it stings when kissing, so once a man gets attached he usually is coerced into shaving it off, thus the presence or absence of facial hair does tend to be an indicator as to the man's status concerning active relationships... At the same rate, some women wouldn't get near a man with facial hair, be he single or not, because women as a rule don't care for it.
So it's a bit 50-50 from the woman's side of things, but from the man's side it is more a matter of personal preference. I myself wore one for most of my younger years because I thought it made me look older, however, once my hair started to turn grey, I shaved it off because I think it makes me look younger LOL.
So yeah, there's something to it.
Shave it off, see what happens, you can always let it grow back.

having a mustache is not a sign of manhood. it's a sign that your body can produce hair in that region sucessfully, but that's it. Sure, girls in middle school may like a boy a little more if he has a mustache, but chances are that boy has just flunked a couple of years and is older than all the other boys who can't grow mustaches yet. I'm 26 and will never be able to grow a full beard, I have patches of hair all over my face and it sucks.

There are many women out there who do not like moustaches AT ALL, and most who are ambivalent. I'm sure you can pull off the look if you've been pulling it off, but don't hesitate to see what you look like without it. If you don't like the way you look, grow it back. Grow a goatee with it, you know, mix it up.

No it is just a sign of a certain kind of a man. You can take the photo and monitor it on your desktop. You can look in the mirror and put your hand over it. I think they are a sign of an older man. Many ederly men have facial hair.

No, a moustache does not make the man. Your actions do. Try out the clean shaven look, You won't know if it fits you until you try.

If you really wanted to you could photoshop yourself. However, shaving is basically free (minus a disposable razor and some shaving cream). If you don't like how it looks, just grow it out again.

I'll tell you what, keep your moush, until it looks or seems very bad on your face, and then shave it off, don't listen to your "friends" they wil say what they feel, but only you know what's right for yourself.
