Do you think I'd make a good boyfriend? I have this close friend who I really like but i'm not sure if I can be good enough for her because I don't want to screw things up with her. We're really close but rarely hang out since she hangs out with her group of friends. I'm cool with that though. She's a pretty independent girl so i don't overdo the gentleman factor with her or should I be more like one? i text her only when she needs me to talk to her and occasional hellos. I'm really patient and support whatever she wants to do but I get a bit overprotective when she's out drinking with her friends a few times and on what she wears sometimes. Is that okay? Please give me advice, I really like her and only want what's best.

she doesn't flaunt around and she is modest, she just has a bit of a wild side. lol! She has been there and is still there for me when I need her. i wouldn't pursue a precocious girl in a million years.:)

Never feel threatened by what she wears because that irritates a women. Don't tell her what to wear, big mistake. The driking thing is just being responaible. Be easy on her and offer to drive her or give her a ride when they drink too muck. Tell her to call anytime day or night and you will be there to drive her. She will love that.

Why would you want a girlfriend to just go out with her friends drinking? Do you think she will be a good girlfriend to you by the habit that she has?

I think it would be better if you just stay friends with her. She seems like she is not ready to settle down with, with all the partying that she does. When will she have time with you? Think really hard about these questions. You are going to want someone who is responsible, modest apparel, someone who respects themselves as a woman, rather than someone who flaunts themselves. It is normal to be protective of someone, but they are going to do it anyway. Do you want someone like that?

Sounds like she's more into her girlfriends and partying right now. You sound protective but maybe a little too controlling. Maybe not. Maybe you're just concerned. You didn't give a lot of info. Why don't you ask her on a friendly date first and begin to get to know her...see if the chemistry's there. But if she's a partier and you're not - it could spell disaster. Good Luck!

You sound like a good, level-headed guy. You're not her boyfriend so its not really your role to be over protective when she's drinking and tell her what to wear. If she was ur girlfriend then it It depends, what she is wearing, if she is showing some skin its okay, but if she's wearing almost nothing, then its okay to tell her sumthing, you don't want all guys to get the wrong idea about her.

I think you would make a great boyfriend. I think first you need to establish the fact that you want to be her boyfriend and second I think you should find out what she is really looking for. Is she looking for a potential boyfriend in you or a best friend type of friendship. Talk to her.
