i normally have a really heavy period so i was wondering if its possible to be pregnant but still have a period
its not near as heavy as normal and ive been sick thru out the day which isnt normal for me to do on periods. i have strange cravings for food that i hate and my favorite foods make me sick to even think about
i have the cramps in my lower part of my stomach were the usual "period" cramps are but i also have pains in the upper part of my stomach kind of like a stretching pain
my taste is off and im extremley tired, more than usual for this time of month also much more hungry than ive ever been

if its possible how long should i wait to test? its been almost a month since the night i thought i conceived and have tried since then many times

it is definately possible to have your period whilst still pregnant. that is how my friend didnt know she was preggers until 6 1/2 months along. the other symptoms may or may not point to pregnancy. i would wait another week or two at least before taking a pregnancy test if you thought that it was a month ago that you might have conceived. good luck

You can still get your period while you are pregnant. I think that part has been asnwered. But...

There is also a mental disorder called ghost pregnancy syndrom or somthing like it. It's when someone believes they are pregnant so bad there body starts to act like it. You get the morning sickness, feel the flutters, feel kicks, ect... but there is NO baby.

I had my period the entire time I was pregnant, I didn't find out I was until the day before I went into labor. I know several women who have had periods for the majority of their pregnancies.

You might just be fighting off a virus or the flu or some sickness that is messing with your system. You should be able to test now and know for sure.
