Acid rain.
Not that Canada doesn't generate the chemical component of it itself, but the huge majority of it comes from the coal- and oil-fired power plants of the US Midwest states (Ohio, Pennsylvania, Illinois, Michigan, etc).
The prevailing weather patterns drive the chemicals north to the colder air over Canada, where it then precipitates downward, depositing its debris throughout the watersheds of northern Ontario and western Quebec.

Go to Wal Mart and look at anything . Clothing TV Radio Jewelries furniture just about anything is made in China . I hope you got the picture .

lots of things come from other countries but these things can still be made here too
the only thing we HAVE to import is foods that cannot grow here like bananas and nuts and chocolate and coffee
