Because you can avoid thinking about her and feeling all the pain until you run into her somewhere. Then, all of those feelings and the hurt rush back up to the surface again. There is nothing wrong with avoiding places from your past that you might encounter her. You will be able to return to most of those places in time, just wait until you are ready.

You can't because it's still too painful for you. It sounds to me like you haven't gotten over her or the breakup.....it's only been 7 months, take it easy on yourself. If you find that you just can't move on you might consider some therapy to work it out. You deserve a happy and healthy life without dragging memories around that cause nothing but pain.

You have been stuck by the same bug that bit me 7 years ago.
Because your love was true and genuine you are afraid your feelings might sprout up again if you see her.
Buddy have a bigger heart and face her in the eyes, tell her that she decieved you.... i will not ask you to forget her, cos thats not possible... someone wisely said" the best way to remember you first love ever is to try to forget it".
So be bold, and please find another girl, donot be mad like me to be alone for long.

i think you still love her and don't trust yourself that you might either love her more or be very angry and make a scene or hurt her which is to you disadvantage, try to avoid her as much as you can and when the right time comes along and it will as they say only time heal all wounds then you can do whatever it is that you like with her or without her! good lucK!!!!
