I love the look of curly hair, you should love it too. I know that you said you are tierd of it, but you know, work with it, use a hair band sometimes, or allow some curls to stay to the side while you pick up the rest on a pony tail, Curly hair is beautiful, use a diffuser to organize the curl, o use a relaxer. Use the help of a professional in this case. Have fun with the type of God gave you, we are all beautiful, just how God made us. He knew what he was doing!

Find a stylist that knows how to cut and style naturally curly hair not all of them can handle natural curl.. Your hair would probably look better if you have some longer layers cut. Not short layers. Definitely not short ones.... You might try using some products like redken smoothing line or frizz ease serum extra strength. These really do help I use them. You could try drying straight with a round brush and then use a flat iron. If this won't work you might want to try a straightener if you want to go straight that is. If not get some good styling gel or mousse and after washing use a smoothing balm, maybe a leave in conditioner, and the gel or mousse and let hair air dry or use a dryer with a diffuser. Do not brush or comb after hair is dry it will cause fuzz. I too have natural curl, but not so much that I cannot straighten with dryer and use flat iron or curling iron after dry. During the summer with the humidity I usually go curly with the gel or mousse. Good luck, curly hair can be hard to deal with but is manageable with a little work, but a good hair cut is the main thing you need.

My niece has real curly hair. Her mom puts braids in it and straightens it. You could go to a professional hairstylist and they can help you with your options. They have some texturizer softeners which makes curly hair more easier to deal with as far as doing styles. You could also where like a big puff on the top of your head.

My main suggestion is explore because your hair does not limit you to the plain bun, you do.

I would LOVE to have curly hair!!! My daughters do so I have found that a major layered cut is the best. That way you can put it up, pull it back or leave it long and still have style. Find a GOOD beautician that has a reputation for dealing with curly hair. Ask anyone and everyone who they go to. A good cut with thinning takes all that weight off and lets the hair fall nicely.

I have really curly hair too, and always wore it in a bun before. But now i bought myself a really expensive hair straightener. It was around $200, but works so good. It used to take me 2 hours to straighten my hair and with this new one it takes me 20 minutes. When i blow dry my hair now, it doesn't go as crazy as it used to because i think it's getting trained to be straight. The name of the hair straightener i got way Babyliss Pro.

You could buy a straightener, they are like 25 bucks at Target and try different styles with straight hair. Or you could spend a few more dollars and get it professionally straightened.

Try doing different kinds of pony tails too, or braiding it might look nice (as long as it is a tight braid!) :-)

Good luck!

Get some layers cut into it. That should help some. Use lots of gel and scrunch it. Also, if you want it straight, blow it out, and use a straight iron. You can go to a salon and have them put a perm in your hair, but without curlers. This will straighten it also. Hope this helps.

well i have naturally curly hair, but mine is like ultra extremly boofy curly, having a wog background and all, so i straighten my side fringe and then just have my curls out because curls aren't boring there actuly look really nice. but for school i need to tie it up so i have it on the side so you can see my curls.
WHAT EVER YOU DO DON'T THIN IT OUT, OR PERMENANTLY STRAIGHTEN IT!!!!!!!! curls are hot man, not dead straight thin hair.
