I am thinking of taking this dog in but me nor the person who originally took it in know what breed(s) he could be. I am thinking a Straffordshire Terrier but it could be a few other possibilities. The person who has it now believes it is under a year old. Any help would be appreciated. Here's a picture of him....

Sorry, I'm not an expert on breeds. I do see a lot of dogs though and kind of looks like could be a Staffie, Pit, Boxer mix of some sort? I do want to say though he's really cute. Congratulations.

Straffordshire Terrier is a possibility, but I see pitbull or boxer as well. It is really hard to tell because all of those breeds can look somewhat similar, depending on who is doing the breeding.

ITS A STAFFORD SHIRE BULL TERRIOR
i have a dog exactly d same but a labrado half (lab x staffi)
be aware that these dogs have a serious dog problem like they rnt social. we didnt know when we got our dog ROCKY but since we got him which he was 9 weeks old- now 4 yrs old- he was unsocial
i urge you to take the dog 2 puppy classes or social classes where he can get used 2 other dogs. yes it may cost a few hundered dollars but it will pay off in d end cos we ended up paying more than $1000 for a vet bill for a dog our rocky attacked... :'( that was d worse time

the foto looks EXACTLY like my dog xcept my dog had whit on all 4 paws which look like socks and d white scarf and a bit lighter brown colour skin... he beau
lmao
have fun wit d dog :)
hope i helped

It looks like a staffie or pit. Sorry but you really can not tell the age of a dog from a picture

oh my god it is beautiful! so cute! yeah she does look like she does have some pit bull in her but absolutlely adorable! just take her and get her some pet training maybe at petsmart or other trainers. but it would be great to get her around other dogs to see how she does! let her play and socialize! love her. read up on the breed. and bring her to a vet. socialize her to with other animals such as cats. i hope she becomes your best friend. april

American Pit Bull Terrier or American Staffordshire Terrier.

He is adorable!

I think that he looks like a pit bull (which is basically an un-registered staffie) possibly with some boxer.

He looks like an American pit bull terrier to me. Looks to big to be an Am.Staf. terrier. He's cute, anyway!
