My ex -boyfriend called me a few months ago and asked me to go see a movie with him. I had not seen him in ONE YEAR. We dated for a short while then HE ended it. I said yes, he picked me up and after the movie he drove me home. While we were driving home, when I asked him why he wanted to see me he said he wants "to see me every once in awhile". By the way, we never had sex while dating cuz he knew I wanna save sex for marriage, so don't say this was a bootycall. Then he went on a trip. When he came back I sadi hi to me twice on msn. I won't say hi to him anymore until he does. Also, during this year, even though HE ended it, he would still say hi to me on msn. Is he ignoring me, was this movoe date just for his own closure? WHY would he do this to me, why did he wanna hangout after one year then ignore me now? He's 26 while I'm 21.

This is kind of a tough one and there could be a few things going on.
You may be right about this just being closure for him. Maybe he wanted to make sure that he made the right choice by ending your relationship and the only way to know for sure was to go out with you again.
He might just want to see you every once in a while. Maybe he wants to have a more casual friendship with you.
He may also regret ending the relationship, but is not really sure that now is the right time to rekindle the relationship or may be nervous about admitting that he still cares.
It would really probably depend on the circumstances that led to him ending the relationship.
I would doubt it is about sex if you never had sex with him. It would make absolutely no sense to come back a year later and expect to have sex with you.

Guys are not particularly difficult creatures to figure out...
Yes, it's true that most of us want sex, but we'll limit that amount of guys to... say, 98%. All I really want is to get to know someone for awhile, then after I've established some sort of comfort zone with her, I get used to physical contact with that person. If kissing doesn't feel odd, and if I seem to have enough physical chemistry with the person, then I start getting used to the idea of sex with her... if I can't get past that, then I'm done with her... but I always let them make the first move, 'cause I refuse to.
There's a long story behind all this behavior, and I don't want to tell it so... there's what you get; I hope it's enough.

first of all u really should give him a break..acting hard isnt a solution,if its for a while its fine ,but if ur gonna do it for a long time it gets irritating ,talk 2 him and try 2 get the words out of his mouth, tell him to stop confusing you and your both mature enough and you should stop playing games and be honest to each other, i think he will give u the best answer to your question. and no its not sex :P

maybe he just likes you as a friend or slightly more than a friend but not quite a girlfriend? you can't always put lables on relationships like that.
P.S. all guys want sex. That doesn't mean if he knows he can't get it he won't still want to hang with you sometimes though.

Since sex obviously isn't involved, he probably just wanted to hang out. I do that all the time, just hang out with some of my old female friends. Don't read too much into it.

I would prefer companionship and the fact that I would have a girl with whom I could relate my thoughts. Weird, uh? That's just me!

Sounds like maybe he was just bored and wanted company. I would not overanalyze it too much. =)
