Personally I believe God created a creative creation. If we climbed from the slime we would be interested in survival,not writing symphonies. Plus,did one slime being just happen to find another of the op. sex? Plus apes and man have diff. kinds of blood. Did all the organs develop at once,that we need to live. Even if I say I believe ev,.where did the millions of well organized perfectly mathematical wonders we call galaxies come from. I do not think they came from nothing.

Why does it have to be one or the other?
I think it's fairly well accepted that Evolution is responsible for the life that we see on earth, God may or may not be responsible for setting in motion the physical laws etc that make Evolution possible, the two things do not conflict.
It's like asking if you believe in Electricity or God, we know there is electricity, there may or may not be a god, the two things do not conflict.

BOTH; it's all the same.
Most traditional Christian denominations have no problem with evolution as the physical mechanism of God's creation. Only silly fundamentalists/evangelists etc. have such shallow and superficial beliefs that they deny the FACT of evolution.
Those who keep saying it's still only a theory clearly do not understand the scientific definition of theory!

God created the universe and man as it describes in the Bible. It's illogical for a Christian to think that evolution happened as well as God creating. Christ believed Genesis literally, so it follows that a Christian should as well.
BTW, science hasn't proved evolution, and it can be assumed that anyone who thinks that it has doesn't understand scientific method very well.
