Of Course. Biblically - that is, without all of the false, denominational garbage that is so widely taught : Hell = turning away from God. Essentially choosing a life/ lifestyle in opposition ot/ not involving Him. How many people do you know that put money and possessions first in life ? That is the same as worshipping it, and putting it before God, which makes Him very mad. Even the Bible tells us that God is a very JEALOUS God, with terrible Wrath.
Gehenna/ or the Lake of Fire, biblically, is only a momentary pain, not an everlasting one.
The misconception/ lie comes in mixing the two, in order to make money: Hell is an eternal damantion of fire and burning, torment, brimstone, etc. You are tortured forever; THIS is a lie.
Hell, biblically speaking is literally 'to turn away from God', therefore, we are choosing to be forever without Him, not the other way around. True God will send Jesus to kill/ judge all non-believers, but God does not want to torture us.
Although He does want us to walk in His Son's footsteps, and live for God alone, not money or possessions.

I believe that Heaven and Hell existed. I suppose no normal human being would like or choose to go to hell. Hell is a place for eternal punishment and separation from God.

Not really. Actually, some think they can avoid hell by choosing not to believe in it or denying that God would actually do what He said He would do if they deny the Deity of Christ. But remember, just because you don't believe in God, Hell or God's Word, doesn't have ANY bearing on what is TRUTH. We humans with limited minds cannot bring God down to our level. We need to trust the One who created everything, who is far, far more superior than any of His creation! This is FAITH. We need to look to our Maker for the answers, not limited man, unless he gives you God's answers! You can be sure that whatever happens to you in regards to eternity, will be determined by the choices we make according to God, NOT by what WE think.

It's all idiocy.
God, with infinite power, time, and knowledge, can only come up with two equally absurd and extreme possibilities? That's a severe lack of imagination.
More likely the enitre idea of Heaven and Hell were the stick and carrot religionists held out to keep their faithful in the pews and the money rolling in.

I don't believe in hell therefore I can't believe that people would choose to go to a place that doesn't exist.

They don't have a choice!
(Romans 5:12) . . .That is why, just as through one man sin entered into the world and death through sin, and thus death spread to all men because they had all sinned—.
(Romans 3:23) . . .For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,
(Ecclesiastes 7:20) For there is no man righteous in the earth that keeps doing good and does not sin.
We all sin.... until death that is...
(Romans 6:7) . . .For he who has died has been acquitted from [his] sin.
Then we are just dead..... and we go to Hell, which really is just the grave.
(Ecclesiastes 9:5-6) . . .For the living are conscious that they will die; but as for the dead, they are conscious of nothing at all, neither do they anymore have wages, because the remembrance of them has been forgotten. 6 Also, their love and their hate and their jealousy have already perished, and they have no portion anymore to time indefinite in anything that has to be done under the sun.

I have been toying around with the idea that we choose what happens after we die with what is buried deepest in our subconcious. A lot of people for guilty for leaving the flock, or being "Bad Christians," so they build up guilty, and bring themselves to hell.
Som,e people believe they reincarnate, and thusly might [That's just a random subject to discuss.]
And others feel nothing, and cease to exist. I choose to believe I'm at this one, personally.

One of route does no longer elect eternal torment. besides the undeniable fact that, the alternative is made even if to settle for God's overture of affection by technique of acknowledging that one is a sinner who has damaged the regulation of God, repenting of sin and trusting Christ as Savior, or to rebellion hostile to God's authority. If someone refuses to renowned god's blessing and care in this existence, he or she is condemned to forfeit His presence and blessing continually.

If you were drowning and someone threw you a life jacket and you did not grab it you would be choosing death right.
If you are not saved and someone tells you about the fact that Jesus Christ died for your sins to save your soul and you do not take hold of that and believe it then you are choosing hell right.
