I know this may sound a bit odd, but I'm writing a story, and I want to know what type of cars the English use. More specifically, are Merecedes Benz sold in England? If not, what affluent cars are sold in England?

The British (not English please) drive the kind of cars you would expect, from small town cars like the Ford Ka, to the high end Rolls Royces, Bentley's, and the middle market BMWs, Jaguars, Merks and the like.

So called 'off roaders' like any of the Range Rover models are also popular.

Japanese cars like Toyota are popular also.

TVRs and Morgan sports cars are sought after by those who can afford them

All the up market car companies have been sold to foreign companies, ie jaguar to ford, Rolls Royce to VW (????)
