Is Power Point an "open document" complient software?

Question

how do I need to save a presentation created in "Open office - Impress" in order to view it on somebody elses computer with power point? I need to burn it on cd, suggestions?

No, PowerPoint is not an "open" document. However, you can open Powerpoint files with OpenOffice's presentation package. You can also save Powerpoint files with the view which will allow opening on any computer.
