Attractiveness relates to sex. Sex relates to reproduction. Traits that demonstrate a healthy mate such as being lean, not fat nor skinny but lean will make you more attractive. Masculine traits such as broad shoulders, muscle all indicate high levels of testosterone. Feminine traits such as wide hips, large breasts etc indicate high hormone levels and prime for mating.

Other traits we deem attractive have been forged by social trends. Dress, the car you drive, your home all indicate a certain financial status but still are related to a mamallian instinct. Women, not just human woman but all mammal females seek males that can best provide and protect herself and her offspring. This explains why a man with a bus pass can barely get a date but an NFL super star millionare has to contend with hundreds of groupies. In short, be rich, be fit and you will have all the women you want.
