Because historically women don't generally go around having sex with barely pubescent boys or raping men. You can't separate the present world from the world we're leaving behind. Everyone who's seen documentaries about grown men raping 12 year old girls is disgusted by it. When an older man checks out a young girl, a fear rises up in society that we aren't so far removed from child marriages. You could write an essay, or many essays, on this topic. IT's not a simple answer, but it for sure is grounded in years of history and the lack of power that women have had, historically.

Yes you are right but you have to view it in accordance to the each girl individaully. It depends on the girl's thinking. Never mind if you don't want sex than don't call them hot also.

just because we call a girl hot should not signify we want sex. we see a beautiful girl we want to compliment her on how she looks. we might be guys but we know how to make a girl feel good without having her think shes a piece of meat in our eyes and all we want is for her to give it up;

Calling a girl beautiful, gorgeous or pretty would be more indicative of giving a pure compliment.. telling them they are Hot is more of a sexual term, I think?

Erm....don't you think "hot" should be reserved for when you have lust for the girl? A nice girl-next-door likes being called cute, but not "hot" unless she's cheap or naughty.

guys are all full of hormones and crap and the girls kno it!! all they think about is sex so girls obviously think that that is what they want when they call them hot!
