This is a common phenomenon in the people of West that they feel they are always right and rest of world is always wrong and due to it many problems of the modern world exist.

I do not think that I am always correct, and I do not think that the rest of the world is a dump!! I also do not think that every country should be an image of the U.S.. Just because you live in a different country with different cultures and religions does not make you wrong. Maybe you should stop putting everyone in the U.S. under one thought.

I don't think its necessarily a western thing. I highly doubt Canada and Mexico would agree that they think they're better than the rest of the world. I think its just the American way. But hey, not all of us are unaware, so don't be too mad. Some of us are as upset with the current state of things as you are...I only hope the rest of the world will be able to forgive us...

We are not always right but more often than some countries a.k.a France, Italy & Iraq, Iran, N Korea. Okay, more correct than a lot of countries - thanks for pointing it out to me.
