A few years back, I woke up in the middle of the night crying and confused. I dreamt that something was on the roof of my house and as i was sitting on the couch. What ever it was it was throwing pebbles at the small birds in the yeard to scare them away, probably to get my attention. I finally got so upset that i went out side to the end of the driveway and looked up and saw a big bird like raven with a mans face! I just stood there in shock that maybe it would be satan. As i was standing there thinking about it he flew over to me, looked at me straight in my eyes and his eyes shawn bright blue almost blinded into mine and he soffly said to me, ''Patricia...do u realize taht one day you will be charged''? After he said this I started to cry and i said, ''your not the devil, your an angel!'' and i woke up balling. Was this an angel, a devil or just another dream? Someone please help! Thank you, and God bless!

In Native American culture, the raven is one who carries messages. I don't know about how Christianity sees this dream, but I would consider it a blessing. Your heart spoke true, even though you were afraid and crying, when you said, "You're not the devil, you're an angel".
You were being given a message. Many people experience divine visitations in dreams. I, myself have received 2 such blessings in my life. The unconscious self does not lie. Only in the awake state does our ego need such protection. The question remaining is, "What does the message mean"? The raven told you that one day you will be charged. Does he mean that you will be charged with a mission, or with a crime? Is he referring to this life, or after death?
You must seek the answers within yourself. What kind of life were you leading? Are you a criminal? Do you feel drawn to do something specific in your life, but are not attracted to it? Is something weighing on your conscience, that you must accept consequences for, or that can be corrected? Are you afraid of something? You must attempt to answer these questions. If you pray, then pray for wisdom, and courage. Together, these two qualities will reveal what is hidden from you.

hmmm... thats weird.
I had a dream that I was sitting there with my dog sparkey on my lap as usual, and the Virgin Mary was pointing at me with a demanding finger, and she had an angry look on her face - I'm Christian, but not Catholic, so I don't pray to Mary;
anyway, the next day sparkey died; I keep wondering - maybe she wasn't pointing at me, maybe she was pointing at the dog? I just don't know, but I do know that I always pay attention to these things - I'm not saying you should dwell on them, just be aware that theres alot going on that we don't necessarily see with our human eyes.
Is your name Patricia? You see that only you can think about what was going on in your life at the time, and figure out what it could have meant, if anything. Remember too, that sometimes we dream really strange things if we eat spicy foods before bedtime. No, I'm not being smart with you - thats really a possibility.

Sounds like a nightmare. Below are a few verses from the Bible for you pertaining to peace & sleep. These promises are for all who accept Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. He is only a prayer away.
Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid.
John 14:26-28
The LORD gives strength to his people; the LORD blesses his people with peace. Psalm 29:11
'I will make a covenant of peace with them and rid the land of wild beasts so that they may live in the desert and sleep in the forests in safety.Ezekiel 34:25

the interpratation is this. The house in the dream is your santurary. The raven a common symbol of death and evil is satan. satan always trys to distract us and draw us from the sanctuary of God. Remeber he is called the accuser. I feel he is trying to convict you of sin you commit years ago. Always remember God never reminds us of our sin ounce it is forgiven. Go on and serve God and order satan out in the name of jesus

Dreams and visions can have an impact on us, if we let them. Trust in the words of scripture not your dreams. "Come unto me all who are weary and heavy laden and I will give you rest." Jesus died for the ungodly and has forgiven your sins by His death on the cross. If you believe that God has done this for you rejoice and be baptized into His name.
Do not put more stock in your experiences as in the revealed word of God. Your experiences can and will change like the wind. All the scriptures in the O.T. and in the N.T. where there are dreams and visions mentioned, point to Christ given for the forgiveness of sin. Joseph’s dreams were pointing ultimately to Christ who was betrayed and given over for another’s sin and God raising Him up for us, setting him over his brothers.
Rom 1:16-17 the Gospel is the power of God unto salvation (Not dreams, they don’t have that power)

My opinion was that it is a vision. I suggest to get the correct answer is to tell a pastor/priest and pray to God that the Pastor/Priest will get an answer. OR ask for someone you know to get the gift of translation of Dreams (being able to translate what dreams mean)

I don't know but I do know the Bible says God has not given us a spirit of fear but of love and a sound mind.
Also I know that in the Bible it was told to Daniel when he was in captivity his dreams were false, the picture Daniel in captivity is a picture of us in sin. Because when we are in sin (have unconfessed sin in our life) we are Satans captives.
Whom ever you yeild your members to you are a slave to them.
Hope this helps.
