Good luck. The best you can hope for is that the cop who wrote the ticket doesn't show up for court, and that's the only way that you will get off.

Sounds like the officer that wrote you the ticket was training. There could have been a million reasons that they stopped you, and generally they aren't required to tell you (legally anyways). And the other writer is correct. The address on the citation is the location that the offense was observed, not where you stopped.
Oh, and the answers given by Kalludge Stoodunt would most likely result in more trouble for you. The best bet when pulled over is to NOT make a scene and to just comply. I have pulled people over who have gotten onto the phone and called others. I never allow anyone to approach a car that I stop. Remember the officer has A LOT of discretion available to him, and any bit of attitude guarantees that you will receive a citation, and possibly go to jail if the officer feels that you are interfering with his investigation. When stopped just be cool and collected and you will be fine.

Generally, if they pull you over be sure to ask why they pulled you over before you hand them anything. Then if they can't tell you a reason make a bit of a protest, nothing big, maybe just call a parent or a friend who knows the law. If there is any piece of information they want that you don't have, call someone to bring it to you, generally this will work. Or if you know all the information on your license (number, dob, exp date, issue date, etc) they usually give you such a hard time. You might be able to stir some stuff up with the difference in location, but don't count on a break. In the future, just make sure you have you license in your wallet all the time so you can just check...keys...yep, wallet....yep. Good Luck and consider it a lesson for the future.

Believe it or not, there is always a reason if you get pulled over. (they might not inform you with it ....)
Location on the ticket it's written where the officer first saw the initial violation, not at the location of the stop( taco bell)
As far as, driving without a license, well that's not very smart, but you can get community service and no DL until 18.

Well, you are lucky that you didn't get taken in right there.
Consider this, if someone steals a car, then gets pulled over in it, without any identification, why would the cop assume that the thief would give his real name?
For whatever reason, you attracted the attention of your local police. Maybe you were speeding. Maybe you ran a stop sign. Maybe you failed to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk. Whatever you did, you failed to uphold your civic responsibilities; namely responsible driving and maintaining your legal licence while doing so.

I do not know, in Illinois you are only allow to have a permit at the age of 16, and some one with a driven license has to be in the car with you if you are driving. I do not know how this work in TX.

Did the cop know you? If he knows you and knows you have no license, he is good to ticket you.
If he had no reason to stop you, you have a chance to beat it.

No, you cannot beat that. You didn't have your license, you get a ticket.
Next time be sure to carry all that info with you, that's all!

If you are driving without a license regardless of why you are driving and where you are driving you can be ticketed for such.
