i used to work this this guy and we got talking and we hang out like all the time and have been for the past 4 months the thing is he is sooo shy, we play fight all the time and when i ask his friends what he thinks of me they dont know because he isnt open. He kissed me last week for the first time. I want to date him but i have no idea what he wants cuz he has had one gf and that was 2 years ago and also he doesnt seem to text first im the one making an effort. help!!

sometimes it takes a while for people to get out of their shell. Give him time, maybe you can be the person to change him. it looks like you will have to initiate everything to start out with if you really want this to work with him

He kissed you and he is still hanging out with you and acting the same way? He obviously likes you, just because he doesn;t text you first doesn;t mean anything.

that's what i always thought if i make the effort he doesn't like me but that's not the way it goes. I think you should keep doing what your doing, but get him aside have a conversation with him, make him tell you his feelings, that way you both know what the other wants

make sure he knows you like him. Im shy about dating too and I wont go for it unless I am completely sure she likes me.
