This was rumor, however, I went to a Toyota plant and they told me it's not official yet, but they said it looks like they're seriously putting the strings together to make it happen for the next year? I heard this car is going to be faster than the Corvette folks. It looks real good from the demo car I've seen. I hope Toyota brings back the Celica too. Toyota needs more race cars in the family again. Right now they don't have any.

The report saids Japan had released a concpet supra that will go for around $50 for V6 and V8 model. Which will be the same engine as The IS350, tuned up to 350HP, and the IS-F V8 engine around 450 HP.
Will it be released on the market? doubt it, Toyota's had been cutting up Sport cars one after another...
The only one left out there is the IS models of Lexus.

There's a slim chance that the Supra will be out by 2008 because it takes several months to get designs approved and tested and then several more months to start production. So, unless they've already started this process, it won't make it out until at least 2009. But your dealership was absolutely right, they have been pushing to get the Supra out.

I dont know when they anticipate bringing it back, but it will be coming out as a Lexus... mostly because it's going to run for about $80,000 and no one will pay that much for a Toyota...

Will be an awesome car though; I'm really excited to see it come back.
