This is stupidity. Where is the original sample of Jesus' DNA that will be compared with the sample DNA from the Jesus who is in that tomb? There is none, so the case is closed. It cannot be proved. These questions should not even be asked. It's not Jesus the Christ.

May God Bless you.

I would guess that most people that come here are quite skeptical to begin with. I don't think that archeology is that accurate of a science. They could estimate the bones to be such and such an age Give or Take five hundred years. Not to mention, no one really knows the exact time that Jesus walked the earth. Although we may say that this is the "year of our Lord, 2007", it actually may be off by as much as 40 years.

Im convinced thats its highly possible,- why is it so hard for people to believe that it COULD be true ,im not saying that it is ,or that i think it is,but some people refuse to even consider it,it may contradict what is says in the Bible, but the Bible is based on chosen works compiled by a group of people who were seeking a single line of historical truth,to many other books were left out of the Bible to accually know what the whole truth was.even in a court of law all evidence must be displayed in full to resolve a case, withholding this evidence it a willful contempt of court,so how can we be selective of the evidence in this case and say that it CANNOT be the tomb of Jesus.

I'll go with the many experts who have spoken on the subject, calling it "a cheap publicity stunt". I especially like the statement by the lead archeologist who found the tomb - "no, it is not unlikely that the tomb belonged to the family of Jesus Christ. It is pure fantasy".

Its not Jesus in the tomb no more then when someone dies and their body is put in the ground. The body is an empty shell that housed the spirit and soul.Jesus put on a new body whos to say what happened to the shell that was earthly.

my pastor said the names Mary, Joseph, and Jesus were among the most common names of the day..kind of like finding a tomb with Jennifer, Joshua, and Bill nowadays..the odds of it being them is one in several hundred.
