It is against the man laws. But when I was younger I dated my best friends ex. Three years later we were married. The guy needs permission from his friend first though.

Depends on the circumstances of the break-up and how long ago that was, how close he is to his friend, how much he likes you, whether he is a gentleman and whether it is all in the open.

The best thing is to clear the air with your ex and ask your ex to reassure his friend it's cool. Then it is just a question of whether he likes you and isn't shy. Otherwise it isn't cool. If that isn't possible because it was a bad break-up, your ex won't have it or his friend isn't up for it, look elsewhere instead of seducing his friends.

Then again you could just go for it and never mind consequences. :-)

If the ex-girlfriend does a lot of "seducing" also, he probably will.
