Have they run out of manufacturing jobs? Will they invade Taiwan?
Does building up their military also constitute satellites as well?

I like Razors answer but not only do they want to be like the U.S i personally think they want to own the U.S. We have so much money going into a large, populated, communist country and when a country has cash and desire for power what do you think they will do? (Just in case you didn't know what i meant by so much money going in, companies like Walmart and all those "Made in china" companies are paying to get their raw materials there since its cheaper.) Plus when we first started trading with China it is their leaders to quoted this "The Americans are giving us the rope that we will hang them with." Meaning we are supplying our own death. Of course we see Bush and the Chinese leader having a little dinner and chat here and there but I believe that Bush is doing it to stay on their good side. The country is pretty poor right now but when it might become one of the most powerful countries in the next 20 years??? Most people don't want to believe it and don't give me a thumbs down just because you don't agree. Thats just what i heard and partly my reasoning. But if you think in this decade, what does a poor country want most? A good military of which it can conquer with. History seems to be repeating itself (The German Nazi empire after the depression and WW1). Plus, China has been picked on a lot. It has a good reason to do so.

Unfortunately, nation/state capitalism requires war to settle the competition issues involved between differing nations in the acquiring of rights to natural resources and the control and domination of trade routes. As China become an economic power, capitalism will naturally force them to become a military power. The end result will be another world war. In fact, the real causes behind WWI and WWII rested on this very issue.

No they have not. They are building up their military to modernize it. Alot of their systems are outdated and their navy is a largely coastal, with a lack of serious blue water capability. As for Taiwan, not really sure. They want them back, but not sure if they will invade or wait them out. They claim their space program is about improving science and telecommunications.

In about 5 to 10 years China will try and take over the world. ( In 1960 the Communist stated they will bury the United States) That day will soon arrive and "YES" they will take Taiwan back. We (USA) will soon be in trouble.

If America can, why not China? Are you worried you might not be able to push everyone around anymore? Team America was a fictional movie, you aren't really the world police.

God likes beef stew!!! My dog likes beef stew. I'm telling you, beef stew solves every conflict. It's worked for me, it'll work for China.
