He seems more cranky with these. Are they more painful?

feel in his mouth and weather he is or not give him something to chew on. My son had all but 4 of his baby teeth at that age. I just noticed tonight that he now has the last 4 molars, they must have come in without much pain as we haven't noticed any difference in him in the last few months.

Just like in us adults, our molars are bigger than most of our teeth. So yes, for an toddler teething, it's worse than the first teeth sometimes. My now 2 year old had a hard time. High fevers, vomiting, sleeplessness. It's dofferent with every kid. i have a 6 month old who's teething now, and he's taking it a whole lot harder than my 2 year old. Try Humphrey's teething tablets. Or a nice cold popcicle. Good Luck!!

those would be the symptoms of a normal teething infant toddler. there isn't anything else you can do besides what your already doing. just the orajel, teething rings, toy, and tylenol. i gave mine his dose of tylenol and then rubbed a little on his gums where they were coming in. maybe some popsicles too. it helps numb them too.
