Wow, those are quite different! Short answer is that the second one is my choice. As long as you are okay with showing a little more skin and are going for a sexier look, it will be perfect. If you are unsure of being less covered, then the first one looks pretty and would probably make you feel more modest.
This certainly isn't to say that the second one is inappropriate. I don't want it to sound that way! I think the second one is gorgeous and it's my personal choice. It just depends on what you feel and what look you're going for. Good luck!

I can't really tell what the first one looks like. Of course an at home pic doesn't look as good and pic from the maker with a model in it. I guess It really depends on the feeling you want for your wedding. The first dress seems more formal ( for something like a church wedding.) the second seems more casual (maybe for an out door wedding.) Try on both dresses and pick which ever dress makes you feel good as well as look good.

2 completely different dresses, for 2 completely different bodies!!! It honestly depends on what body type you have. AS much as I loved that second dress, theres no way that it would have looked good on my body. What I suggest you do is go to Davids Bridal... or somewhere like that... and find a style that fits your body and makes all the right places just POP. THEN, go looking for the dress of your dreams. ALSO.... go to www.kanacca.com ALL the best dresses and NOTHING over $300.

I definitely liked the 2nd better. Have you tried either on? Or any dresses on? Try on a lot and different styles. Those 2 are totally different styles. If you haven't tried them on, you may find you don't like either. You will know which dress is right for you the moment you try it on, and forget all the others!

Definitely the Jim Hjelm dress. I don't want to offend you, but the first picture looked somewhat cheap. The Jim Hjelm has that elegant feel though! Good Luck!

The second, the first dress looks to poofy on the bottom. But, you should really go by what looks best on you. In an ad, the dress may look amazing, but it will be anything but on you. Or the dress, can seem unflattering on the rack, but amazing for your figure.

Both dresses are very pretty but I like the second one more. I LOVE the sash and the lace texture. It's low cut neck is sexy but still classy. It is a gorgeous dress. I feel like the first one is kinda blah. Hope that helps...and congradulations!

I really really hate the first one the second one is beautiful without being over the top. It has a sense of romantisicm the 1st one is just frumpy and plain and too old fashioned.

The second dress is much more flattering than the first one which seems bulky and not fitted. Obviously alterations could be made to help but the second is still the best choice. :)

I love the second one but don't like the bow around the middle, what are you...a bride or a Christmas present??? The second one without the sash would be stunning.
